Derek Betts

Derek is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Defense practice group. He has more than five years of experience practicing law and negotiating various contracts and agreements and has successfully represented multiple insurers in declaratory judgment, bad faith, and breach of contract actions in various jurisdictions throughout the state of Florida. He also has experience engaging clients and opposing counsel to negotiate terms in an effort to settle cases.

Derek received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University and his master’s in business administration and bachelor’s degree from Rollins College.
